So showing photographs of flag-draped coffins is “unwarranted or undignified” when the coffins contain the remains of service members killed in Iraq, but when the coffins contain the remains of firefighters killed on 9/11 it’s “crucial to the story of Bush’s presidency”?

Finally, after way too freaking long, Buraka Som Sistema has released their latest album, Black Diamond. The song above, Sound of Kuduro is by far the best on the album, but there are some other nice gems on here. MIA is featured on several tracks, and the rhythm is just addicting. I cannot sit still when this is on.

This type of behavior is typical of this administration. That which may be damaging is hidden and that which may be beneficial is thrust into the open; regardless of other factors.
This is the most secretive administration ever. This administration has done the most to encroach on personal liberty of any recent administration. Frankly, nothing scares me more than a government that wants to know everything about me and hides behind a false banner of “national security.” Moreover, they pull that banner out to hide the facts of what they do.
Fortunately, classical conservatives like myself (read libretarian if you choose), who normally would be happy with a more conservative administration, are realizing that Bush-Cheney Conservatism is contrary to the very concept of conservatism.
