Fox and the Simpsons cast are in another contract dispute. They haven’t shown up to script readings for next season.

when i went to see harry shearer and yeardley smith at the connecticut forum, shearer told the story of how a fox exec who was negotiating with the cast told them the real stars were the writers and that the talent meant nothing to the continued existence of the show. in fact, he told the cast that fox could go to any highschool in america to re-cast the show.
give the [cast] their tartar sauce, i say. they deserve it.
