Franken is now hosting his own liberal talk radio show .Though the first review seems to point to a bit of a mixed start, I am sure once they start getting into the groove of things, it will be outstanding.
The long-anticipated and much-publicized venture — which features a slate of daily shows hosted by Franken, Chuck D, “Daily Show” cocreator Lizz Winstead, and actress-comedian Janeane Garofalo, among others — is intended to provide an economically viable and politically influential alternative to right-wing chat in a crucial election year.
I personally am excited to hear that Al is continuing his politcial commentary, and taking it to radio. I loved his book, and this will be a nice break from all the conserative shows that seem to be on the air these days.

franken was on howard stern yesterday morning, and he was brilliant. stern’s producer (?) is a staunch bush supporter, and spouted every lie you hear the bush administration broadcast as if it was truth. franken picked apart every argument and laid out the facts. it was brilliant of stern to set it up like that, and franken was not only funny, but came across as confident and with data to back up his arguments.
