Why does it not suprise me that this is happening in Texas? I guess a group of mom’s decided that letting their girls learn about sex education, or even just endorsing Planned Parenthood, was evil, and corrupted their children. To stop this evil from spreading, I learned that there is now a great new organization, the American Heritage Girls.

American Heritage Girls was founded in 1995 by a Cincinnati-area woman and her friends who were unhappy that the Girl Scouts accepted lesbians as troop leaders, banned prayer at meetings and allowed girls to substitute the word “God” in the oath.

I guess the girls scouts that I knew, the one that had girls bake cookies and learn to sew, was apparently too radical for them…
