You can find out which of the presidential candidates your neighbors support (and how much) here. Interesting tidbits from my area: Very few people around here have given money to John Kerry. The majority have given money to Clark, Dean, or Bush. Most individuals that list their occupation as “lobbyist” have given money to Bush. I now know the home address of the Majority Counsel for the U.S. House Judiciary Committee. Someone who self-reported as the Director of the NSA gave $250 to Howard Dean. VP of International Relations for Coca-Cola gave $1,000 each to Kerry and Lieberman, $500 to Gephart. All but two of the “homemakers” gave to Bush. And guess who a lawyer for U.S. Oil and Gas gave $2,000 to? (Hint: the same person who received $500 from an executive for B.P. Amoco.)

Found this via Brea Grant’s blog. It’s a good song, and the rest of the album is pretty good. You can get the album, Re-arrange Us, on Amazon.com’s MP3 store. No DRM, just plain, high quality MP3 files.
(PS. Don’t forget to watch Brea Grant on Heroes in a few weeks, and check out other books and music she likes over at Coolspotters. And, no, I’ve got no connection to her, business or otherwise. Just a fan since I saw her on Friday Night Lights.)

It’s working again. They just got overloaded with traffic because they were mentioned in an article by, I think, The AP.

This is the best: a Feng Shui consultant in Richmond gave Kucinich $1,485. (c: The Allens (who collectively are Allen, Allen, Allen & Allen, a personal injury plaintiff’s firm) all gave money to Edwards. David Lowrey (part of the rock band Cracker) gave to Howard Dean. But what I really love is three teenagers in a house all saving up $2,000 to give to Shrub along with their parents.

I can’t believe how popular Bush is in parts of this country… the guy is a fucking tool.
And I mean that in the most respectful way possible.

Please don’t insult tools that way. (Plus, whenever I hear the phrase “tool,” I think of ex-Allen, since that was Bridget’s nickname for him.)

The most surprising to me was the Marketing Director at the Wadsworth Atheneum (an art museum) here in Hartford gave money to Bush.
