And no one posts for a whole day!
Yeesh, I have to keep up the whole thing all the way from NZ.
Anywho, just wanted to say that it’s beautiful here. I’m tired (nearly 24 hours of traveling) and sore (2 hours hiking today… can’t waste any time here!), but am enjoying it. Some of you (you know who you are) will be happy to know that there is a kebab and falafel place on nearly every corner… I’m going to wait until Sural gets back to Auckland before I hit one of them. Figure that she shouldn’t miss the fun.
I also had a fun opportunity to listen to conservative CT radio on the way down to JFK (nice shuttle driver…). It’s interesting to hear the rhetoric that they’re using. Cole’s comments that I mentioned earlier were apparently not his own making… this is a theme that is being carried by the conservative media in this country… the whole don’t change horses mid-stream (I love Wag the Dog)/steady leadership in times of change message is getting blasted out there by the conservative media as “a vote against Bush is a vote for terror/Osama/dead troops/end of America (insert your favorite apocalyptic rehetoric here).
I’ll have more on this later. It was a really interesting radio show. I can see how people, if they don’t have all the facts, can start believing this nonsense. I jotted down some notes and will post when I’m back in WH.
Pics and videos comin’ soon.
Have fun all.

Wow did not realize you left already! Enjoy your trip!. btw, I want a little baby kola (he can be friends with Eucild). Just a cute tiny one that I can call my own, and carry around with me. Pocket size would be perfect.
