I figured if anyone would know the answer to this, you guys would. My friend just sent me the following e-mail:
During this year’s Super Bowl, you’ll see ads sponsored by beer
companies, tobacco companies, and the Bush White House. But you
won’t see the winning ad in MoveOn.org Voter Fund’s Bush in 30
Seconds ad contest. CBS refuses to air it.This decision by CBS is further evidence in support of my theory that the media is biased toward conservatives, not the other way around. There is nothing at all offensive about this ad. The only possible reason for not running it is that it is critical of the Bush administration. Particularly because they are running a pro-Bush ad, they *should* run the opposing viewpoint in order to avoid the appearance of bias. Clearly, CBS isn’t even worried about keeping up appearances anymore.
To check out the ad and ask CBS to air ads like this one, go to:
http://www.moveon.org/cbs/ad/
The $1 mill. question is this: what “pro-Bush ad” has CBS agreed to run? I haven’t seen anything about this yet.

It’s a bit disingenuous… the ad in question is sponsored by the White House Office of Drug Control Policy. So, yes, the Bush White House is the sponsor but only because that’s where drug policy is managed… if it were managed by the DEA, then it would be a DEA ad…
