One of those mocking, derisive but ultimately silly attacks made by both Giuliani and Palin yesterday had to do with mocking Obama’s time as a community organizers. I’ve read many different posts today defending the work community organizers do but Obama, as you might expect, puts the right perspective on the issue. Steve Benen has more background.

In classic Simmons style, the Sports Guy makes his case for firing Grady while re-living the pain of Thursday’s loss to the Yankees and making me laugh all at the same time. Hopefully he will make you laugh, too.
He’s also going to be involved with Cold Pizza (on ESPN2) tomorrow morning. I may try to get up in time to see it.

For what it’s worth, Sports Guy (favorite columnist) says significantly dumber things than TMQ (second favorite columnist) but he always prefaces them by saying that he’s a moron, and never insults Disney.

lots of people that work for Disney criticize the movies… they just don’t imply that the two execs are somehow ignoring the lessons of the Holocaust in a quest for the Almighty Dollar. Slight difference…
