The best indication in the morning that I’m running late (and good motivation to leave, now that I think about it) is when Regis and Kelly comes on in the morning. Today, though, Kelly actually said something funny about the Miss Universe pageant that I have to pass on (this is a rough paraphrase):
Kelly: Yes, but looking the way they do should be enough of a prize. Who cares if they lose? Sorry, Miss South Africa, you lost. But you still get to look the way you do. They should hand out consolations prizes at the end… a mirror!
Sorry, I find that amusing, especially in light of the whole Tucker Max nonsense going on. Oh, and the Tucker Max thing is hilarious. While, it’s no longer on his web site because of a stupid judge, you can read the whole thing here at slashdot.

Ugh! I used to judge lateness via Regis as well. I HATE that show. It is immensly irritating, and I would run screaming out the door if I heard it on… Maybe that is why it is so popular? Perhaps the high ratings are not on because people stay and watch the show, but because they use it as an alarm clock?
