One last look around the net for blog designs and software led me to perpetually disgruntled, a personal blog with a fair amount of war commentary. While I don’t agree with all of it, there are some interesting articles there.

One of the articles is a Nightline show from 4/25/03 which says that White House officials claim, privately, that the war was not about oil, Saddam, or WMD, but about the U.S. needing to flex our muscles to dissuade future attacks.

That’s a disturbing claim. It would be completely callous and offensive if true. So much death just to make a statement? I sure hope not… better that they’re ignorant and misguided…
