So, people clearly just started messing around with the Cheeto auction. The final price was over $99 million yesterday before the seller yanked the auction. However, the seller has re-listed the Cheeto. Unfortunately, people have started playing around again and the auction is over $7K again.

It’s too bad. While I wouldn’t bid on the Cheeto, I don’t see anything wrong with selling it. This is what the “Weird” category is for, right? I can imagine some serious collector/bored rich freak would want to spend a hundred bucks on a big Cheeto. Too bad people have to mess that up.

Update:The Cheeto auction has been re-listed again as eBay apparently cancelled the second auction, calling it a “joke.” In a related auction, someone is now selling a T-shirt to commemorate the great Cheeto auction. Yeesh…
