Any thoughts about Dirty Vegas winning a grammy for “Days Go By”?
I read somewhere that it had come out in 2001, but can find nothing to back that up right now. If that were true, it wouldn’t be the first time the Grammy folks have relaxed its own rules. See, for instance the fact that two of the other nominations in the Dance category are from 2001. Daniel Bedingfield & Kylie Minogue both released their albums technically too early for consideration.

Maybe it was released in Europe that year and in the US in 2002, and since the world revolves around the US, that is why it qualified??? I thought it did come out in 2001 as well, personally I think the girl in the pink hat in the commercial should have won something as well, like “coolest-looking-girl-in-a-video-who-started-crazy-hat-trend…”. I know that i spend some effort looking for a hat similar to it, though I failed in that attempt. I guess I will never truely be cool.
