So far so good for Mr. Romney on one front, at least. Mitt Romney, our new governor here in MA, seems to be doing something
prudent in any situation while cutting the budget. While there are still big question marks with his English immersion plans and his other cuts to various education programs, this move seems to be a win for everyone except the folks running the MDC. I hope that’s the case, because it sure looks like a smart, small step to bridge the budget gap. I wonder how much more could be saved by eliminating unecessary duplication of function and effort?
