The Macy’s ad Mac talked about has a very soft, sweet acapella version of “I’ve got you, babe” by a solo female artist. I was amazed at how much the feel and meaning of the song was changed by the singer. I’d love to have a copy of the whole song, but a google search didn’t help.

To Mac: Regarding the Macy ad, I haven’t seen a Macy ad featuring the song, however, I have recently seen/heard Night Bird singing I’ve Got You Babe for the De Beers Everlon Diamond Collection tv ad. Perhaps it’s the same cover song.

AMC TV usually plays a small clip with multi-colored screens that tells the viewer the movie that is currently playing after commercials finish. I recently noticed a instrumental song with horns and a drum loop of sorts accompanying a clip for the movie “Patton”. I have also heard this song with the Godfather Part II clips too. Would someone please tell me the name of this song? I would greatly appreciate it as I AM DYING to hear it.
